Golf Digest
Situated on lands once inhabited by the Chickiack, a group of Virginia Algonquian Indians, under the rule of Chief Powhatan, the course is set along the ridge of a natural bluff. Picturesque vistas through mature hardwoods and over natural, rolling hills may distract from play which may demand accurate shot making from tee to green. However there are forgiving holes with ample landing areas and gentle sloping greens. Course architect John LaFoy likes to state "After playing Kiskiack, 18 golfers may each have a different favorite hole." About Traditions Golf Club at Kiskiack, many share his enthusiasm and are in agreement with him!
The club also offers a pro shop, a professional instruction program and a practice facility with putting green and driving range, all located within minutes of the historic area.
KISKIACK
Signature Hole 11th
This par-3 requires accuracy to negotiate a green surrounded by water on three sides and is well protected by bunkers.
