The Colonial is a superbly conditioned players par 72 course with a traditional layout set in unspoiled natural surroundings, through hardwood forests and tidal marshes. Opened in 1995, the course feels much more mature than its age, situated out in the countryside without a condo or house in sight.
The Colonial Golf Academy led by PGA Class A member and Master club maker, Pete Gyscek and offers private instruction by appointment. The Academy has its own 3 hole practice links and a complete practice range facility.
THE COLONIAL
Signature Hole 6th
The Abyss, Colonial’s most famous hole is a par 3 with a splendid panorama of water & wetlands, with a deceptive distance which places the undulating green closer than it seems. Overshoot & you might take advantage of the ‘Cussin' Box on back of the green.
