Nestled among giant live oaks, magnolias and towering palms, golfers will find a very challenging, but player friendly layout. It's not the length of the course that counts here, the course has 13 water holes plus tree lined fairways and the wind off the ocean to test ones game, especially when staring down small greens and tight fairways.
The club has been through some rough patches in the past, but with new management and a 2005 renovation, the course is beautiful, well manicured and player friendly. It is a bit of a drive from Charleston, but if one is looking for something a bit different, one will find a welcoming, tranquil sleepy island with no red lights or commercialism to take away from the beauty of this Lowcountry paradise.
