Voted 2003 - 2004 Charleston Area Golf Course of the Year
Sited on a grounds of a 1779 Revolutionary War battlefield, The Links at Stono Ferry is a par 72 championship course designed by Ron Garl. With a front nine lined with massive oaks and pines, the back nine swings out to feature three holes lined up along the Intracoastal Waterway.
Being a site rich in history, each hole is named for a battle term, soldiers or views and places from the past dating as far back as the original Native Americans who occupied the site in a distant past to the current history of the South Carolina Jockey Club. With names like Vigilance, Gauntlet, Redoubt, Retreat and Rattlesnake, one might wonder what kind of course hazards may be in store for the golfer who challenges this course. Make par at a number of these and The Crossing or Independence holes and one may win their own battle of the Links here at Stono Ferry.

Signature Hole Hole 14 - The Crossing
The par 3 peninsula tee is located on the original ferry landing for the plantation. Goods and crops would be transported across the Stono River to Johns Island. Take in the view and enjoy one of the best holes in the Lowcountry.
